Website Management

So you have a website; now what?

Unlike some web designers, who definitively cut the cord when your website goes live, Fabelle Creative can continue managing your website after the project is completed. Many clients opt to manage their websites in-house, but some find that doing so is time-consuming, challenging, and in some cases, too expensive. Worst case scenario: they undo their investment with me by accidentally messing up designs I’ve created for them. I offer various tiers of web management that are easier than DIY, and cheaper than hiring a full-time employee to do the job in-house. Each option is a flat monthly cost that conveniently covers any charges due to Squarespace to keep your site up and running.

Website Management Tiers

$200/month: Hourly Requests

Keeps your site live, gives you unlimited free consultation, and access to hourly-priced design work at your request. There is no limit on the number of requests you make or amount of things you want to add, remove, or change on the website. (Hourly rate is $200 and subject to change, work is timed and charged for each month the work was completed within.) Please note: because hourly work cannot be planned ahead for, any work requested within this tier will be done after pre-planned work (i.e. scheduled projects or higher web management tiers); therefore, quick turnaround times cannot be guaranteed in this tier.

Example: a public relations specialist who needs minimal or irregular changes to the website, but is not comfortable with or does not have the time to make these changes herself, and wants continual access to the support of her designer without having to wait at the back of the project pipeline.

$335/month: Biannual Edits

Batch updates twice per year: up until two decided dates, you may make a list of any and all changes you want to be made to the website. On our agreed upon dates, I’ll implement them all at once. See below for examples.

$670/month: Quarterly Edits

Batch updates quarterly: up until four decided dates three months apart, you may make a list of any and all changes you want to be made to the website. On our agreed upon dates, I’ll implement them all at once. See below for examples.

Examples: an artist who needs to add case studies of his work, new testimonials, and photos to his portfolio periodically; or a mental health service that has to periodically remove or add new employees, or add a page to describe a new program.

Note: blog posts can be scheduled ahead of time to cover the period between batch updates. Both biannual and quarterly edits include unlimited consultation and cover the associated annual Squarespace hosting fee.

$2,000/month: Regular Weekly Management/On-Call

Complete website management for clients who need regular weekly updates on a timely basis. This might include a regular blog post, email campaign scheduling, calendar updates, changes to banner announcements, home page content, etc. Examples: a parish that needs holy days of obligation or holiday Mass times posted to the home page and weekly bulletins uploaded; or a podcast that needs each episode’s show notes and audio posted weekly. Alternatively, if you’d like to have unlimited “on-call” access to me, where you may request any kind of update at any time, you would fall under this tier.

Fine Print

Web management is not available for websites created by other designers or on other platforms. Each option is for one year and can be discontinued or renewed at the end of the twelve-month period. Payments are due on the first of the month. If you need to cancel before the end of the term, you will be charged for any and all fees associated with Squarespace that would have otherwise been covered in your plan, plus a cancellation fee of 30% of your remaining balance. Web management slots are limited based on workload capacity. Please refer to the “Remaining Availability” of each tier to see if it can be booked at this time.
