Work
Textile Wildlife Art
Janine Heschl, operating as Textile Wildlife Art, uses a sewing machine to create unique photographic embroidery portraits of wildlife, inspired by the beautiful diversity of colors and patterns in every species in nature. With a heart for charity work and activism, Janine serves a tight niche of art collectors who appreciate wildlife and the art of embroidery, conservationists, and ecotourists. Janine needed a logo to take her artwork to the next level of professionalism.
Jacob Popčak: Art, Soul, Mind
Jacob Popčak is an illustrator, speaker, and graphic designer with a background in Catholicism and mental health. Jacob had an existing website portfolio, but the site was outdated and did not reflect the unique complexity offered by the artist. Our challenge was to strike a balance between the artistic nature of his business and the dependable professionalism he brought to it.
A Whitewashed Tomb
My debut novel, A Whitewashed Tomb, was a labor of love that challenged not only my writing, but also my graphic design and layout skills. Rather than publishing traditionally, I decided to do everything myself: from the cover design to the interior layout, Kindle formatting, and marketing materials.
Heartbreak City Stripped
From its early beginnings playing free shows at hole-in-the-wall Cheatham Street Warehouse to opening for Bob Seger, Blue Water Highway has taken center stage in the Americana music scene. The moody album design we ended up with for their newest record echoes the bluesy, natural, and intimate sounds of Heartbreak City Stripped.
Essence: Assault on the Mind
Essence: Assault on the Mind is the first of a science-fiction crime novel series following FBI Agent John Rocco. In this episode, Rocco faces a dangerously brilliant neuroscientist who has managed to breach dimensions with his mind, and plans to use an app called eTelepathy for widespread mind control.
Primordium, A Novel
The truth is, people do judge books by their covers. You can have an extremely well-written, engaging story—but if its formatting screams "amateur," people will assume the content is, too. Good books deserve good design.
Amado Gonzalez
It’s hard not to love your job when it involves supporting the individuals, businesses, and bands that matter to you. I had the wonderful opportunity of designing a logo for Amado Gonzalez on the verge of his debut album, “Despite the Distance.”
Mario Loomis, Author
On the verge of publishing his second novel, Primordium, Mario wanted to take his writing to the next level with an author website. He needed something sleek that encompassed his genre and style, and I believe we found it.
Full Armor Band
Full Armor Band's new record, The Things That Last, marked a new season for the band. It was the first time they'd collaborated to write all the songs together. This label really needed to stand out from the rest.
